Hybrid Cloud Cluster

Hybrid cloud is a cloud computing environment that uses a mix of on-premises, private cloud and third-party, public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid cloud gives businesses greater flexibility and more data deployment options. Many adopters of cloud computing rely on the public cloud, in which businesses or individuals outsource application and/or infrastructure hosting to a third party, like Amazon, Microsoft, or Google. While this model is strong and growing, it doesn’t address every use case. Organizations are also bringing cloud computing in-house with a private cloud model, often to address security and governance concerns.

VPS (Virtual Private Server)

VPS hosting is a Virtual Private Server, and is a virtualized server. A VPS hosting environment mimics a dedicated server within a shared hosting environment. It is technically both shared hosting and dedicated hosting. VPS Hosting is one of several types of web hosting accounts you can choose from to host your website online. To have a website on the internet, you need to have your website files on a web server. Setting up and managing a server can not only be expensive, but difficult too. Purchasing web hosting allows someone to rent space on a web server, making it easier for the average person to have host a website online because all they need to do is upload their site files (no server setup is needed on their part).

On-premises (sometimes abbreviated as “on-prem”) option implies the use of local resources to place software which is installed and runs on computers on the premises (in the building) of organization. Moreover, you can also use virtual private servers (VPS) or virtual dedicated servers (VDS) to locate on-premise software. In case your company is renting a server to place and host own software, the main cost you will encounter will be the rent charge. If the servers are located in your facilities, you need to cover the maintenance and electric energy costs, to provide safety and regular service.
